California Standards, Inc's (dba "United Realty Group" or "California Standards Realty" or "we") Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect and use information on the various United Realty Group websites (the "Site").

By registering on or visiting the Site, you are acknowledging and accepting this Privacy Policy. We may from time-to-time revise this Privacy Policy, and the date of last revision will be available at the top of this page, so please be sure to check back periodically. The Information We Collect


Personal Information is information that others can use to identify, locate, or contact you. When you register on or use the Site, or contact United Realty Group, you provide United Realty Group with certain Personal Information including, without limitation, your name, address, zip code, email address, telephone number, comments you make to forums and blogs available on the Site, information about whether you plan on buying and/or selling property, home search criteria, information about financing for the purchase of property and other information related to the sale and/or purchase of property. United Realty Group does not request or collect social security numbers, credit card numbers, or driver's license numbers. Additionally, United Realty Group servers automatically record information sent by your browser when you use the United Realty Group Site, including Internet Protocol address, browser type and language, and date and time of request. We may also collect information using cookies, web beacons or similar technologies.

When you send email or other communication to United Realty Group, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our service.


How We Use Information

Depending on your use of the Site and the services you request from United Realty Group, we may use your Personal Information for, but not limited to, the following purposes:

  • To enable United Realty Group Agents or other third-party real-estate professionals and their affiliated entities to contact you and provide personal service, or to provide you with personalized content, including email messages, E-Mail Alerts and/or search results.

  • To facilitate all aspects of the sale and/or purchase (or potential sale and/or purchase) of real estate.

  • For the purposes for which you provided the information, including to process and respond to inquiries and to contact you about services you have requested.

    Sharing Of Information

    United Realty Group may disclose your Personal Information: (i) to another entity for purposes of outsourcing one or more of the functions described in the previous section; (ii) to confirm or update information provided by you; (iii) to inform you of important information; (iv) as a part of a sale of assets as described in the previous section; (v) with other companies for the purposes of marketing products to you after obtaining your consent; and/or (vi) as otherwise authorized by you.

    United Realty Group will provide you with opportunities to opt-in to share information with and receive information from United Realty Group or third parties. When you opt-in to share and receive information from United Realty Group or third parties, your information will be shared at United Realty Group's discretion. You may at any point withdraw your consent to share information with United Realty Group or third parties by opting out on the Site. Additionally, if you wish to opt out of emails received directly from third parties, you can follow the opt-out instructions in the emails they send you. United Realty Group will stop sharing your information within 10 (ten) days after receiving your request; provided, however, that information shared prior to that time will remain in the possession of United Realty Group or third parties and may continue to be used consistent with this Privacy Policy.

    You can manage your email preferences by logging into your account through the Site. You can also login to your account using links contained in commercial messages that we send you.

    United Realty Group may share your Personal Information with third parties involved with your sale and/or purchase (or potential sale and/or purchase) of real estate. These third parties include, but are not limited to, third-party real estate agents and brokers, insurance providers, lenders, appraisers, home warranty providers, or inspectors.

    You may choose to work with companies who are third parties and who are not affiliated with or related to United Realty Group, including without limitation, lending institutions, title companies, insurers, appraisers, home warranty companies, real-estate agents, real-estate brokers and other service providers, in connection with your real-estate transaction. These companies may each have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your personal information. United Realty Group accepts no responsibility or liability for third-party privacy policies or the actions of any third party with respect to your personal information.

    We may also share your information in response to a subpoena, legal order or official request, when we believe you have acted in violation of the Terms of Use, or when we believe that doing so may protect your safety or the safety of others. Information that is de-identified (stripped of any information that could be used to identify you) may be used by United Realty Group for any reason and shared freely with affiliates, the press, partners and third parties. This information is usually aggregated (combined with information from many other users), and may include information such as Site traffic patterns, trends, demographics, search patterns and other information.


    Third-Party Advertising

    Third-party advertisers may serve you ads when you visit the Site. Some of these companies may use information about your visits to United Realty Group and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you.     California Privacy Rights

    If you are a California resident, you are entitled by law to request an Information Sharing Disclosure. If you request it, we will provide you with a notice of your right to prevent sharing of your Personal Information as well as a cost-free means of doing so. To receive such a notice, submit a written request to the address listed in the Contact section below, specifying that you seek your "California Customer Choice Notice." Please allow thirty days for a response.


    Account Deactivation

    Your United Realty Group account can be de-activated at any time. However, you will not be able to access any of the services offered by United Realty Group if you choose to deactivate your account.
